Now in our 16th year! ! We wish you all the best for 2024-5
Objective: To unite women across Canada in a social environment offering friendship and support, while taking time for ourselves and walking away from the responsibilities of our everyday life, a few hours at a time.Did we tell you it's only $25/year for membership? (less than a fast-food coffee!)

Pay the nominal membership fee, and to dress appropriately at all times. When in public you are representing both the CJCS and its members across the country. We expect our members to: wear something on their head and to dress only in our colours – red & white or purple & white. Most importantly, to have FUN!
Our Members
Have their own private website "The Jewel Box" where they may interact with other members, have their own homepage, join online groups, find information on planning events, ceremonies, songs, post photos, share event information, etc. etc. etc.
All members with email receive a monthly newsletter on the 15th of each month filled with information.
Members are invited to attend events across the country including the National Convention held annually in September, each year hosted by a different province. We have been to Brandon, Regina, Kelowna, Vancouver, Halifax, Calgary, Winnipeg, Quebec City, Lethbridge, Toronto, Penticton and are heading to Leduc, Alberta in 2025.
INDEPENDENT MEMBERS
The purpose of an Independent Membership is to give new members up to one year to explore and find a chapter that feels like the right fit, or to provide an option for those living in areas where no chapters are currently open to new members.
Independent Members receive the monthly newsletter, have access to the CJCS website, two Facebook groups, and may attend multi-chapter events when invited. They are also welcome to participate in provincial/national events and winter vacations when invitations are extended.
Independent Members, however, may not organize events. At the end of their one-year term, they are expected to join an existing chapter or start their own.
Being an Independent Member is only meant as a temporary step—our true purpose is coming together in friendship and sisterhood.
