  • Keeping communications open between members, provinces, and the board of directors via a private members website
  • Hosting local, provincial and national Conventions, an Annual General Meeting, trips (cruise, Vegas, all-inclusive, spa weekends, etc.)  local luncheons, teas, coffee gatherings, zip-lining, bowling, movies, etc.
  • Socialize with other women from across Canada, sharing ideas, activities, and support.
  • Sending a monthly newsletter to each member, not just the Queen of the chapter, on the 15th of every month.

Members must agree to:
Pay the nominal membership fee, and to dress appropriately at all times. When in public you are representing both the CJCS and its members across the country. We expect our members to: wear something on their head and to dress only in our colours – red, white and purple, in any combination. Most importantly, to have FUN!

Our Members

Have their own private website "The Jewel Box" where they may interact with other members, have their own homepage, join online groups, find information on planning events, ceremonies, songs, post photos, share event information, etc. etc. etc.

All members with email receive a monthly newsletter on the 15th of each month filled with information.

Members are invited to attend events across the country including the National Convention held annually in September, each year hosted by a different province. We have been to Brandon, Regina, Kelowna, Vancouver, Halifax, Calgary (twice), Winnipeg (2017) and 2018 (the location is a secret for now, but plans are made).
