Our Four Rules
We love bling!
We do have a uniform which means a colour scheme that we wear at all functions.
Our colours are:
Red, White & Purple
(worn in any combination)
We Have Four Rules That We Ask All Members to Follow
- Pay your membership fees on time
- Wear something on your head
- Dress only in our finery (colours) at CJCS events (with the exception of Halloween of course!)
- Have fun!!
Rule # 1 - Pay Your Dues On Time
If you want to be a member, you pay your membership and pay it on time.
For that we thank you!
Rule # 2 - Wear Something On Your Head
This can be such fun and totally up to your imagination. We've seen the usual hats and fascinators, but also lampshades, bra-hats, tiaras, scarf, feathers, ribbons, crowns, etc. Anything goes.
Rule # 3 - Wear Our Colours
When we began, we wanted to have our members wear Canada's colours:
RED & WHITE
Many members had several red hats and purple outfits in their wardrobe and didn't want to have to buy all new, so they asked if we would please include purple, the colour of Royalty, to our colours and to be fair, we agreed. So our official colours are:
RED , WHITE & PURPLE
(Please wear red & white or purple & white)
These colours encompass our "uniform" - what we wear at our gatherings so that we are distinctive and of course it's always fun to dress up.
We love to add lots of bling to our wardrobes.
** PLEASE BE FAIR **
Many of our members were formerly members of another organization, a private corporation in the USA. We ask that our members be fair and not dress in any way that they might be mistaken for that group.
In other words, do not wear an all-red hat and all-purple attire.
Add some white to your hat if you wear a red one.
Black and denium are not our colours. We ask that you do not wear them.
Please wear red & white or purple & white. Thank you.
Rule # 4 - Well, Of Course! It's All About Having FUN!
There's much to see here. So, take your time, look around, and learn all there is to know about us. We hope you will join the fun and join CJCS!
We are a sisterhood of women having fun together and supporting one another.
It is the responsibility of the Queen of the chapter to ensure her members are aware of our "rules"
